Notes – Rose Minnie Armstrong has proven to be a bit of a mystery.

The Queensland Birth, Death and Marriage register show Rose was born to Michael O’Connor and Mary Carroll.

Records have been located referring to a Mrs Armstrong, singing in the orchestra as a tenor in 1926 in Tara, but to date this is the only reference which has been located and it may not relate to this woman.

The 1957 Electoral roll shows that Rose came to Tara on the 28th of October 1954 and was living at Bilton Street, Tara. Her occupation is listed as None.
