Notes – William was born in Victoria in 1864 and was the son of Elizabeth (Eliza) (nee Morton) and William Arnold. His siblings were Harriet, Joseph, Elizabeth, Rebecca, John and Isabella.

William married Louisa Davis in 1886 in Victoria. They had four children, however one daughter who was born in 1887 died as an infant.

The couple first appear on the local rolls of 1909 and then from 1915 to 1917 at Undulla Creek, Tara with William James listed as a farmer.  William who suffered from asthma had moved to the area primarily for heath reasons. He died in the Dalby hospital from an asthma attack.

William shares a headstone with his wife Louise, the inscription reads – In loving memory of our dear father and mother. William Arnold departed this life 5.01.1920 and Lousia Arnold departed this life 29.03.1938 Aged 71.
