Notes – Rose Agnes Corcoran grew up at Deniliquin NSW and married her husband James Bouchier there in 1898. She had three children Henry, Glady and Mary and lived most of her life in Queensland at Meandarra.

Like her husband, she was one of the original settlers to the district sometime prior to 1911. Rose was living with James and her son Henry at Brigalow Creek. In 1943 the family was still at Brigalow Creek. Brigalow Creek had its name changed to Meandarra when the area was first surveyed in 1912.

Rose shares her headstone with her husband James who passed away ten months after her. The inscription reads – In loving memory of our dear parents James Bouchier Died 2nd Nov. 1943 Rose Bouchier Died 12th Jan, 1943 aged 60 years.
