Notes – Elizabeth Marilyn was only 4 days old when she died in December 1936. She was the infant daughter of Mary (nee Dalton) and Michael Patrick Cane of Caneville, Meandarra.

Her parents Michael and Mary had married in Victoria in 1935. However, records indicate Michael Cane lived at Meandarra from at least 1915 until 1950.

In 1915, Michael Cane, John Payne and Joseph Walters were entrusted to be the trustees of the newly reserved area for the Meandarra Cemetery.

The headstone on her grave reads, Elizabeth Marilyn Infant daughter of M.P. & M Cane Died Dec 8 1936 Aged 4 Days.
