DALGLEISH, Robert

Name – DALGLEISH, Robert
Born – 1880
Died – 11/01/1945
Location – Number 68 Anglican Section
Mother – Sarah Pickwell
Father – Robert Dalgleish

Notes – DALGLEISH, Robert – little information is available at this time on this person.

It is known from the electoral rolls that Robert worked as a labourer in Tara from 1940 until his death in January 1945.

Prior to coming to Tara, Robert worked as a labourer in Millmerran from 1936 till 1940.

The only fact which has definitely been uncovered about this man, is that he tried to take his own life in 1940 as the attached newspaper article reports.

There is no headstone on his grave. Another sad story.
