Notes – The identity of E Fimmell whose body lies in the Tara Cemetery remains a mystery to this day.

The only Fimmell (or Fimmel) family in the area was James Edward Adolph Fimmell who was a Victorian selector at Undulla Creek near Tara from around 1913. He married Ada Jane Lawson on 30th October 1915 in Dalby. Her parents had the farm next to James Fimmell at Undulla Creek.

There may be some connection to this family.
