Notes – Little George was born to Christina Amelia (nee Allen) and Augustus (Gus) Forster in 1927. George had at least one brother named Allen Lindsay. George’s parents had married in 1916. His father appears to have been a livestock and real estate agent, because there were many reports in the newspapers about him having good clearing sales, or selling cattle for good prices.

In 1928 George’s parents were living at Holstein Park, Perthton – as a selector and home duties. Holstein Park was the Schutt’s property.

It is very rare to find an obituary for a little baby, and one can only assume, this was because George’s parents were held in high regard in the district. The article reports George was taken ill very quickly, and the hospital staff were unable to save his life.

George has no headstone to mark his grave.
