Notes – Sarah was born in 1896 to Hannah (nee Grieve) and Daniel Keeshan in Victoria in 1896. She was one of five children and her siblings were Andy, William (Bill), Daniel Jnr and James.

Sarah was also known as Sis. After the family moved to the Tara district, Sarah would often visit the Naughtins and Smallacombes families as they were related to her. The Smallacombe girls Grace, Dorothy and Margaret all thought the world of her.

Sarah supported her brothers and also enjoyed the shows and rodeos and other public outings. She was a member of the Hospital Auxillary and helped raise money for the Tara Hospital. She was also an avid reader and enjoyed handy crafts.

Sarah appears on the electoral rolls. In 1936 Sarah is with her brothers Andy, Bill, Dan and James and her mother Hannah at Goranba and in 1941 Sarah is still living with her brothers after the death of her mother. Her brother Dan and his wife lived at Pagel.

Sarah Keeshan remained single and there is a headstone on her grave but unfortunately it is hard to read.
