Notes – KELLY, Phillip Evan Roy was born in 1947 to Eileen Pearl Ann (nee Smith) and Eugene George Kelly. Phillip’s parents married in Sydney in 1944, Eugene was aged 28 yrs and Eileen aged 22 yrs.

In the 1953 census the family are at Boggabri, New South Wales and at living at Greentrees. Eugene is noted as a contractor and Eileen is listed as home duties. In the 1955 census they are at Tara and Eugene is the Manager of Glengarry and Eileen is running the house.

It appears young seven year old Phillip was killed eight miles outside of Tara, just after he got off the school bus and started to cross the road. It was a very tragic accident.

Phillip Evan Roy Kelly has no headstone to mark his final resting place.
