Notes – Ester Lorraine was born to Robert Carey and Doris Ellen (nee Price) Scott in 1939 in the Tara district.

Her parents were married in Brisbane on the 1st of February, 1936. The 1937 electoral rolls show Robert and Doris Scott moved to Tartha via Tara. Robert was a station hand and Doris a housewife.

By 1944 the family had moved to Ladas Downs, Glenmorgan where Robert was the station manager and Doris shown as housewife.

In 1946 the Scott family left Ladas Downs and moved to MacLay Island near Cleveland and from 1949 to the 1970s were still farmers there, later retiring to the Esplanade at Wynnum.

Little Ester has a headstone that reads – In Loving Memory of Ester Lorraine Scott Passed away 16th November, 1941.
