Notes – Dianne Margaret was born to Veronica (Vonnie) Margaret (nee Dean) and Ronald (Ron) Turner in 1954. The poor little girl died in 1955.

Her parents were living in Milne Street, Tara in the house that was directly behind the Commercial Hotel drive through. The kindly couple lived in that house until the early 2000’s.

Vonnie used to work as a cleaner at the State School, and all the kids there thought she was great. Vonnie and Ron were both keen lawn bowlers.

It appears little Dianne may have had a sister called Lily.

Dianne has a headstone that reads – In loving Memory of Dianne Margaret infant daughter of Ron & Von Turner Died 30th June, 1955. Born 25th November, 1954.
