Notes – Ellen was born to Richard and Frederica Giltrow in 1874. They lived around the Goondiwindi area. She had siblings of William, Charlotte, Fredrick, Robert, Thomas and Richard.

She married Thomas Wilson on the 5th August, 1890 when she was 16 years old. She was kept busy with her children, Robert, Norman, Thomas, Annie, Betrice, Ellen, Ivy, Walter, William, Frederica, Fredrick, Mary, Charlotte, Richard and Elsie.

Ellen died at Jandowae where she had spent the last few years with her married daughter, Frederica Meacle. At the time of her death she left 7 sons and 6 daughters, 49 grandkids and 15 great grandkids.

Ellen Wilson has a headstone that says – In Loving Memory of Ellen Wilson. Died 13 th February, 1947 Aged 73 Years
