Notes – Nina and her twin brother Donald were born in 1938 to parents Eileen Nina (nee Goddard) and Hilton (Hilly) Claude Doran. Hilly and Eileen were married in Brewarrina in 1935. Their daughter Annette was born in 1936 and she was two-year old when the twins died.

Nina died on the 17th June 1938 just nine days after her twin brother Donald, who had died on the 8th June 1938.

In 1937 the census has their father Hilly living at Mendurang, Tara as a grazier. In 1943 the census has both Hilly and Eileen living at Mendurang, Tara. The 1939 Pastoral list has Hilly with 10 Cattle and 1570 sheep. By the 1949 Census the couple have moved to Moree.

Nina is buried to the right of her brother in a separate grave and separate headstone. Nina has a heart shaped headstone and the inscription reads – In loving memory of our baby daughter Nina Doran. Died 17th June 1938. R.I.P. Donald has a metal marker propped up by an old wooden cross that reads – Baby Son. Donald Doran. Died 1938.
