Notes – Alice was born in 1865 in England to Thomas and Ann Cotterall (nee Moore). She married John Green and they had at least four children who were John Jnr, Thomas, Margaret and Constance Minnie. The family sailed to Australia early in the 1900s.

Alice appears on the roll in 1901 with John, John Jnr. and Thomas at Chorley, Lancashire England. In 1917 and 1921 Alice is with John and John Jnr at Warra on Maudlands. In 1936 Alice, John and John Jnr. were at Wendouree. From 1936 to 1943 Alice and John were at Wendouree, Meandarra. In 1943 at Wendouree, Meandarra with John, John Jnr, Margaret, Constance Minnie and Thomas as selector, labourer and home duties.

However, at the time of her death Alice was at Mt Pleasant, Meandarra. This may have been a property owned by her son.

Alice and John are buried together and have a joint headstone and the inscription reads – In Loving Memory of our dear parents Alice Green died 12th Jun 1943 Aged 78 and John Green died 31st May, 1949.
