Notes – Christina was born to Margaret and William McCay, in Argyllshire, Scotland in 1834.

At the age of 19 Christina married Henry McLeod. It is known she had at least six children, Flora, Donald, Peggy, Henry, Norman and Angus .

In 1903 her son Henry married his wife Rebe in Kalgoolie, Western Australia, so the family had already arrived in Australia by then. Angus and his wife Miriam were living at Tara by 1913, and he had been living in Perth prior to this in 1898. In 1919, The family were living at Allendale Weimbilla, Tara, in 1919 with Henry Snr, Henry, Rebe Lillian and Norman. Christina died in 1921 at the very old age of 87 years.

The inscription on her headstone reads:  In loving memory of Christina McLeod, Aged 87 yrs. Erected by her son Norman. Her husband Henry died in 1927 at Tara aged 96Yrs.
