Notes – Thomas Stark Miller was the son of Elizabeth (nee Frazer) and John Stark Miller of Sandhurst, Victoria.

On April 4, 1893 Thomas married Mary Johnstone Reddie at Pyramid Hill, Victoria. He and his wife were one of the first settlers to move to the Tara district and they lived at Riverside, which was only approximately 9km from town.

Thomas was a grazier up until shortly before his death, when he stated he was working as a carpenter.

Thomas and his wife Mary, share a headstone with the inscription: In Loving Memory of Thomas S Miller Died 30th Jan, 1935 Aged 72 years and Mary Johnstone Miller Died 24th July, 1937 Aged 69 years.
